Yulin is a PhD student at the NYU Center for Data Science, advised by Chen Zhao. She is interested in understanding language model behaviors and working mechanisms, particularly in reasoning and alignment. Prior to joining NYU, she obtained a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and a Master degree in Computer Engineering at Tsinghua University.
