    NYU Shanghai launches the second edition of its AI Summer Program for High School Students. This two-week, immersive, English-language program introduces students aged 15–18 to the fundamentals and applications of artificial intelligence, taught by leading AI scholars from CSDSE in collaboration with the NYU Shanghai Center for Data Science.

    On December 13, 2025, the 2025 CSDSE Senior Capstone Symposium at NYU Shanghai brought together students and faculty for a dynamic showcase of interdisciplinary capstone projects. Across parallel sessions, students presented innovative work in AI, robotics, data science, urban studies, and social impact, addressing real-world challenges through applied research. The symposium concluded with an award ceremony recognizing outstanding projects and student achievement.

    NYU Shanghai Team Excels at 2024 X-GAME with Innovative EV Charging Study

    At the 2024 X-GAME Shanghai Smart New Energy Vehicle Big Data Competition, the team “NanNanYu”, supervised by Professor Zhibin Chen, Assistant Professor of Engineering at NYU Shanghai, conducted innovative research titled “Analysis of Heterogeneous Charging Behavior and Facility Matching Driven by Simulation.” Selected from over 600 teams and nearly 800 participants, the team’s outstanding work received high praise from the judges and won First Prize in the New Energy Vehicle Category at the final competition.
