Romain Corcolle

Romain Corcolle received his PhD in Physics in 2009 from Paris-Sud University (Paris 11 - Paris Saclay), France. Prior to joining NYU Shanghai, he was an Associate Professor in Paris-Sud University (Paris 11 - Paris Saclay) since 2010, where he was affiliated with GeePs (Group of Electrical Engineering – Paris Saclay) for his research activities.

His research activities focus on the study and modeling of electromagnetic materials, especially ferroelectric and ferromagnetic materials. His main research focus is on the development of advanced constitutive laws for such materials. Analytical and numerical approaches are used, with a particular focus on the development of multi-scale modeling tools.
