Affiliated with the ACM Student Chapter at NYU Shanghai, the NYU Shanghai CCPC school team was established in January 2024. This marks their first competitive season since its formation. Under the guidance of Assistant Professor of Practice in Computer Science, Gu Xianbin, the team is making impressive strides in their inaugural year.
“These impressive results achieved in the team's first competition are primarily due to the students' efforts,” said Professor Gu. “Their enthusiasm for programming is truly remarkable. Each month, they take the initiative to organize technical discussions, choosing programming topics, sharing techniques and experiences, and inviting professors to give lectures. The students' dedication and passion for programming deeply moves me.”
